2016 FALL SHORT COURSES

September 16 - October 28: How Buddhism Can Enrich Christianity. Leader: Mark Canfield, PhD. Meet weekly on Friday mornings 10-11:30 am in Room 1, Pleasant Hill Community Church. Book by Paul Knitter, Without Buddha I Could Not be a Christian is required - available new or used on Amazon.com.


October 3 - 31: How to Use an ANDROID SMART PHONE (not IPhone) Leader: Phil Nevius. Meet weekly on Mondays at 9:30 am in the Computer Lab of the Uplands Wellness Center. Android phone helpful, but not necessary to learn basics.

October 5 - November 7: U. S. Women' s History. Leader: Marilyn Brady, PhD. Meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons 3-4:30 pm in Room 1 at PH Community Church. (EXCEPT last class on Monday Nov. 7No text required. Selected readings of several pages each week.

Leader: Don Smith, BA in History, MDiv in Theology and Philosophy. Meet weekly on Friday mornings, 10-11:00 am, Room 1, PH Community Church. Book by Martin Gardner, The Whys of a Philosophical Scrivener is required - available through Amazon.com.
